Payments¶
The payments page is a summary of all payments on your merchant account.
Payment Statuses¶
- Succeeded
- Pending
- Disputed
- Dispute lost
- Dispute won
- Failed
- Refunded
- Unknown
Payment Types¶
- Order # — A payment for an order that was paid upfront by the customer.
- Balance — A payment that was made towards the customer's balance, which can be used for terms payments.
- Manual Payment — A one-time payment unrelated to any resource in Velocity.
Payment Receipts¶
Use the … menu to select View receipt or Copy receipt URL to access the receipt for the payment. The receipt's URL is public and may be shared with customers.
Payouts¶
A payout represents a deposit into your company's bank account for a group of transactions. Payouts are automatically generated by Stripe on a regular interval, and may be viewed on the payouts page.
- Total Balance — The total amount that will eventually be deposited in your bank account
- Future Payouts — The settling amount in your Stripe account. This amount will be included in future payouts
- In Transit — The total amount in the 'In Transit' payout
View a Payout¶
The payout details page displays a detailed list of transactions that will be included in the payout's deposit.
Gross — The amount your customer paid Fee — The Velocity platform fees Net — The amount after fees
Receipt¶
Use the … menu to select View receipt or Copy receipt URL to access the receipt for the payment. The receipt's URL is public and may be shared with customers.
Payout Report¶
Select the export icon to receive an email of a report for the selected payout. You can also request a report of all payouts from the list page.
