Sage Intacct¶
Sage Intacct is a powerful cloud accounting software designed to streamline financial management for growing organizations (typically 20+ employees) and mid-sized companies. It provides automation and trusted insights across financials, planning, HR, and payroll.
Velocity supports integration with Sage Intacct customers, orders, items and invoices. The initial integration can be made upon request.
Integration Requirements¶
The following information is needed in order to set up the integration:
- Web Services sender ID
- Web Services sender password
- User ID
- User Password
- Item ID for shipping
- Company ID
The sender ID and sender password will come from a Web Services developer license. Make sure that the sender ID is authorized for the company that is being integrated with Velocity. The user ID and user password will typically come from a Web Services user account which can be set up by the administrator for the Sage Intacct company.
If your Sage Intacct account does not have a specific item ID set up for adding shipping to invoices, let your Velocity rep know.
Report to Sage Intacct¶
The primary use of the integration between Velocity and Sage Intacct is the ability to report Velocity orders to Sage Intacct. Before being able to report an order to Sage Intacct, some things need to be configured.
Configuration¶
The following are required before Velocity can report information to Sage Intacct:
- Customer that is on the order being reported must already be in Sage Intacct

When reporting an order to Sage, there are a few fields that must be filled out first on the Order Details page:
